Pedestrian Awareness Training

Required Due-diligence For Employers
Recommended for: People who work around or in the vicinity of lifting devices, IE Forklifts Cranes, Aerial work platforms etc, and/or in the warehouse.
Objective: To ensure that employees working in or around the warehouse were Lifting devices are used, are aware of the dangers and procedures to follow when in these areas.
Benefits:
– Reduction in Incidents (which lead to accidents)
– Reduction in WSIB claims
Course Time: 2 t0 4 hours.
Knowledge and skill to be acquired:
- Introduction, review of OHSA, CSA and MOL guidelines
- Safety in the workplace, and safety program
- Hazard identification
- Rules for Pedestrians, who has right of way, rear end swing etc.
- Safety and requirements around lifting devices
- Safety in the warehouse loading dock area
- Safety Video (The Danger Zone, High impact Video)

Practical: Safety observation in relevant areas ( If on Customers site)
A certificate of participation will be provided to the company along with any R.O.Training.
