Recommended for: Operators who are experienced or inexperienced and who have not completed a certified training course. Objective: Developed especially for low lift walkie or rider type lift trucks in both theoretical and practical components to safely and effectively operate within their working environment. Theory and Practical Competence Evaluation:
Theory: Multiple choice (can be verbal if required)
Practical: Each operator must be able to prove competency in all aspects of forklift truck operation pertaining to his/her job function.
A pass mark of 80% in both theory and practical is required in order to be certified as a competent operator. A written report is issued on each operator indicating attitude, response to instruction, operating knowledge, ability and our instructor’s assessment of practical competence on a test marking sheet. Each operator who meets the required pass mark in both theory and practical will receive a wallet card indicating class of equipment tested on.
