UPGRADE (EXISTING) FORKLIFT OPERATOR TRAINING
Complies with CSA Standard B335 (R2020) and MOL Guidelines
Recommended for: Operators with previous experience on either counterbalance or Narrow Aisle forklift trucks that have not completed a Certified Course of instruction. Objective: To ensure that operators of forklift trucks understand their responsibilities and apply the safe and correct operating procedures. - Introduction to the forklift truck
- Daily inspection procedures
- Refueling
- Elementary driving
- Correct operating procedures
- Trailer loading/unloading
- Safety in the workplace
Theory and Practical Competence Evaluation Of Our Forklift Training Test:
Theory: Multiple choice (can be verbal if required)
Practical: Each operator must be able to prove competency in all aspects of forklift truck operation pertaining to his/her job function.
A pass mark of 80% in both theory and practical is required in order to be certified as a competent operator in our
lift forklift training class. A written report is issued on each operator indicating attitude, response to instruction, operating knowledge, ability and our instructor’s assessment of practical competence on a test marking sheet. Each operator who meets the required pass mark in both theory and practical will receive a wallet card indicating class of equipment tested on.
